Pok\u00e9mon<\/a>\u00a0has chosen its home for its upcoming\u00a0Pok\u00e9mon Tales: The Misadventures of Sirfetch\u2019d & Pichu\u00a0stop-motion animated show, and they\u2019re getting some help from Aardman Animations. The new series, created in partnership with the British stop-motion studio, will air on Disney XD and stream on Disney+ in 2027, becoming Pok\u00e9mon\u2019s first animated series to originate on Disney. As the title suggests, little Pichu and Sirfetch\u2019d are getting into silly antics as they venture across the Galar Region to protect any pok\u00e9mon who might need their help. Sounds like a kid-friendly version of Tales of Dunk and Egg<\/a>. In the teaser trailer, they\u2019re rolling around in a field with Wooloo, and Pichu is hitching a ride on a Falinks. If it\u2019s anything like our last experience with a Pok\u00e9mon stop-motion animated series<\/a>, it will make us cry at some point.<\/p>\n Pichu and Sirfetch\u2019d come from the same studio that brought us Wallace and Gromit and Shaun the Sheep. \u201cThese stories, full of adventure and heroism, all told from the perspective of Pok\u00e9mon is made even more exciting through the lens of the incredible filmmakers at Aardman,\u201d Phil Rynda, Director of Original Animation at Pok\u00e9mon, shared in a press release<\/a>. \u201cAudiences will be delighted getting to know the Sirfetch\u2019d & Pichu, and wonderful cast of Pok\u00e9mon, featured in this series.
