Fifteen years later, he is currently reprising the role of Draco in the Harry Potter and the Cursed Child stage play on Broadway<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
The actor joked that his current appearance in 2026 is “more flattering” than the version of adult Draco in the film<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Tom Felton<\/a> is reflecting on what it was like to film the epilogue for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows \u2014 Part 2<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n Fifteen years after the final Harry Potter film was released in 2011, Felton, 38, said that the epilogue time jump required “a lot of research into what we would look like 19 years later.” The epilogue showed the main characters \u2014\u00a0including Felton’s Draco Malfoy, Daniel Radcliffe<\/a>‘s Harry Potter, Rupert Grint<\/a>‘s Ron Weasley and Emma Watson<\/a>‘s Hermione Granger \u2014\u00a0as adult parents sending their children to Hogwarts.<\/p>\n “That meant photographs of my brothers \u2014 I have three older ones \u2014 my dad, their hairlines, their facial complexion,” Felton explained in a video shared on the Harry Potter Instagram account. “And so around that, they designed what Draco would look like 19 years later.”<\/p>\n Tom Felton as Draco in ‘Chamber of Secrets’ in 2002; Tom Felton as Draco in the ‘Cursed Child’ stage play in 2026 Joking that the depiction of the older version of Draco “seemed rather unfair compared to Harry and Ron’s,” the actor went on to emphasize how happy he is to finally “get to put that right” by reprising his role in the Harry Potter and the Cursed Child<\/a> stage play on Broadway.<\/p>\n He also made it clear that he thinks the reality of what Draco looks like now is “somewhat more flattering than what they did” in 2011’s Deathly Hallows \u2014\u00a0Part 2.<\/p>\n Felton also remembered the time they spent shooting the epilogue to be nothing less than “an awesome day.”<\/p>\n “Obviously, we knew it was the end,” he said. “That was not a set or a studio, we shot that at King’s Cross station, so it was pretty cool.”<\/p>\n “It’s even cooler that I genuinely thought that was the last day that I was gonna ever, ever be a wizard,” he said.<\/p>\n “And here I am.
