The likelihood is low.<\/p>\n
Chelsea don\u2019t do favours for Liverpool, they have no contractual pressure with seven years left, and there\u2019s no scenario where they replace a Brazil international in 48 hours.<\/p>\n
It becomes plausible only if Chelsea suddenly need accounting profit before the books close, and even then they\u2019ve historically sold from the middle of the squad rather than the top.<\/p>\n
More probable is that Estevao functions as leverage.<\/p>\n
Brighton know Liverpool have options, real or briefed, and options soften asking prices.<\/p>\n
Palace know it too.<\/p>\n
What Liverpool actually have on Tuesday night is Barcola on one flank and a decision on the other, made under time pressure, on two wingers who are currently injured.<\/p>\n
