Below Deck Mediterranean star Nathan Gallagher has been convicted of three domestic violence offences against his former partner and co-star Gael Cameron after failing to appear in a Sydney court.<\/p>\n
Mr Gallagher, 30, was due to appear before Burwood Local Court on Tuesday to contest charges stemming from an incident at the pair\u2019s Melrose Park home late last year.<\/p>\n
Ms Cameron, 30, who the charges relate to, appeared at Burwood Local Court on Tuesday.<\/p>\n
However, court records show Mr Gallagher did not appear when his matter was called at 11am.<\/p>\n
The three charges were heard and determined in his absence before Judge J Lacy.<\/p>\n
\u201cI find the offences proven,\u201d Judge Lacy told the court, according to the Daily Mail.<\/p>\n
Mr Gallagher was convicted in his absence of assault occasioning actual bodily harm, intentionally choking a person without consent and common assault.<\/p>\n
The court subsequently issued a bench warrant for Mr Gallagher\u2019s arrest, allowing police to arrest him and bring him before the court.<\/p>\n
Police prosecutor Sergeant Arruzza told the court Mr Gallagher was believed to have left Australia, according to the Daily Mail.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe believe the defendant is offshore at this time,\u201d Sergeant Arruzza said.<\/p>\n
Mr Gallagher had initially been refused bail by police on December 27, 2025, a NSW Courts spokesperson confirmed to News24.com.au.<\/p>\n
His matter first appeared before the court the following day.<\/p>\n
The Daily Mail reported Mr Gallagher was later granted bail, with his conditions not requiring him to report to police or surrender his passport.<\/p>\n
The Irish reality television star works in the international yachting industry and rose to prominence after appearing on Below Deck Mediterranean.<\/p>\n
Mr Gallagher and Ms Cameron appeared together on the Bravo reality series before entering a relationship.<\/p>\n
