MINOT, N.D. (KMOT) \u2013 There\u2019s a piece of iconic music history in Minot, and fans have the opportunity to take pictures with a one-of-a-kind vehicle. <\/p>\n
George Masters knows his classic cars. But this one is one of a kind. <\/p>\n
Masters is the president of the Dakota Cruisers Car Club and was hired to detail a special vehicle. <\/p>\n
\u201cHe said, \u2018I got another car too; it\u2019s a Continental Mark V.\u2019 He said it used to belong to Elvis Presley, and said that\u2019s cool, yeah right,\u201d said Masters. <\/p>\n
The car\u2019s owner, Shane Feland, found the car at an auction in the Carolinas, with paperwork and all, proving it used to belong to the music legend. <\/p>\n
\u201cHe had all the documentation and everything, to show that this was the last car that Elvis Presley bought,\u201d said Masters. <\/p>\n
Masters said that Elvis bought the car in April of 1977, one week before he went on what would have been his final tour. <\/p>\n
\u201cHe had it for a week, and then he gave it to his jeweler, Lowell Hays,\u201d said Masters. <\/p>\n
When Masters gets to take this car around the Magic City, he gets to show people the life of the King of Rock, Elvis Presley. It comes with all the bells and whistles, including his TCB logo and a tape deck. <\/p>\n
With Feland\u2019s permission, Masters takes the car to assisted living homes, for everyone, including Elvis\u2019 fans, to take pictures with the iconic set of wheels. <\/p>\n
Feland gifted a necklace from his trip to Graceland to an area lady who\u2019s a huge Elvis fan and involved in the car club. <\/p>\n
\u201cHe\u2019s certainly a gentleman that\u2019s willing to share the ownership and the pride, because I don\u2019t know, you can\u2019t say everybody, but everybody\u2019s an Elvis fan,\u201d said Masters. <\/p>\n
Masters said that Shane appreciates getting to share the car with others. <\/p>\n
Even though Elvis is no longer with us, a little bit of him lives on in the Peace Garden State. <\/p>\n
