Two previous cartoon tunes each reigned for four weeks: The Archies, with \u201cSugar, Sugar\u201d in 1969, and the Chipmunks with David Seville, with \u201cThe Chipmunk Song\u201d over the 1958 holiday season.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tUpon the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/lists\/huntrx-golden-kpop-demon-hunters-number-1-hot-100\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">original<\/a> ascent to No. 1 for \u201cGolden,\u201d HUNTR\/X \u2014 the IRL singing trio of EJAE, Audrey Nuna and REI AMI (in the roles of the movie\u2019s characters Rumi, Mira and Zoey) \u2014 became the first female group associated with Korean pop to crown the Hot 100.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tKPop Demon Hunters has also become the first soundtrack to generate <a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/lists\/huntr-x-golden-hot-100-number-one-second-week\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">four simultaneous Hot 100 top 10s<\/a> over the chart\u2019s archives. The songs place in the bracket for a fourth week, with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/artist\/saja-boys\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Saja Boys<\/a>\u2019 \u201cYour Idol\u201d and \u201cSoda Pop\u201d each up a spot to return to their respective Nos. 4 and 5 bests and HUNTR\/X\u2019s \u201cHow It\u2019s Done\u201d lifting one place to a new No. 8 high.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tMeanwhile, KPop Demon Hunters charts three songs in the Hot 100\u2019s top five simultaneously for a third week. It surpasses the only other soundtrack that spun off three concurrent top five hits: For two weeks (April 8 and 15, 1978), three Saturday Night Fever songs were all in the top five: Bee Gees\u2019 \u201cNight Fever\u201d and \u201cStayin\u2019 Alive\u201d and Yvonne Eliiman\u2019s Bee Gees-penned \u201cIf I Can\u2019t Have You\u201d (at Nos. 1, 2 and 5, respectively).<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tAs previously reported, the KPop Demon Hunters soundtrack slashes its way to its <a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/music\/chart-beat\/kpop-demon-hunters-soundtrack-number-one-billboard-200-1236066167\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">first week at No. 1<\/a> on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/charts\/billboard-200\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Billboard 200<\/a> chart. Thanks to the set and \u201cGolden,\u201d a soundtrack and one of its songs lead the Billboard 200 and Hot 100, respectively, for the first time since the charts dated March 5, 2022, when Encanto and its ensemble anthem \u201cWe Don\u2019t Talk About Bruno\u201d wrapped five weeks doubly dominating. (KPop Demon Hunters and Encanto are the only animated films to earn such honors. Plus, per the categorization of animated acts at No. 1 on the Hot 100, HUNTR\/X, the Archies and the Chipmunks are self-contained acts, whereas characters in Encanto joined to sing \u201cWe Don\u2019t Talk About Bruno,\u201d with billing given to their real-life names, not their roles in the film.)<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tBrowse the full rundown of this week\u2019s Hot 100 top 10 below.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tThe Hot 100 blends all-genre U.S. streaming (official audio and official video), radio airplay and sales data, the lattermost metric reflecting purchases of physical singles and digital tracks from full-service digital music retailers; digital singles sales from direct-to-consumer (D2C) sites are excluded from chart calculations. Notably, the song has cleared 30 million streams for six weeks running, the most for a title this year; Kendrick Lamar and SZA\u2019s \u201cLuther\u201d logged five such weeks.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\t\u201cGolden\u201d adds an eighth week at No. 1 on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/charts\/streaming-songs\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Streaming Songs<\/a> chart; pushes 24-20 on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/charts\/radio-songs\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Radio Songs<\/a>; and dips to No. 3 after two weeks atop <a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/charts\/digital-song-sales\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Digital Song Sales<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"pmc-fallback-list-item-wrap lrv-u-margin-b-2\">\n<p>\t5 Weeks at No. 1 for \u2018KPop\u2019<\/p>\n<p>\t\t\t<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ie\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/01-kpop-demon-hunters-cr-netflix-billboard-1800.jpg\" class=\"attachment-medium size-medium\" alt=\"HUNTR\/X\"  \/><br \/>\n\t\t\t\t\tImage Credit: Netflix\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\t\u201cGolden\u201d is the ninth song in the realm of Korean pop to rule the Hot 100, and the first by female lead vocalists with ties to the genre. It adds a 13th frame at No. 1 on Radio Songs, up 3% to 75.1 million in audience; it\u2019s the first song this year to reach 75 million in weekly reach, and the first since Shaboozey\u2019s \u201cA Bar Song (Tipsy)\u201d last October. Warren performed \u201cOrdinary\u201d (in a medley with fellow ballad \u201cEternity\u201d) Sept. 7 on the MTV Video Music Awards, broadcast on CBS; it also gained by 1% to 23.2 million streams in the tracking week.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tTwo songs by Sabrina Carpenter sandwich Saja Boys\u2019 Hot 100 top 10s: \u201cManchild,\u201d which led in its debut week in June, rises 4-3 and \u201cTears,\u201d which Carpenter performed on the VMAs, drops 3-6 in its second week on the chart.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tMorgan Wallen\u2019s \u201cWhat I Want,\u201d featuring Tate McRae, holds at No. 7, after it reigned in its first week in May , becoming Wallen\u2019s fourth No. 1 and McRae\u2019s first.
