Chicken Shop Date, bringing the celebrity interview show to a close.<\/p>\n<p>The YouTube series saw the 32-year-old interview A-listers in local chicken shops, with each encounter framed as a first date.<\/p>\n<p>Dimoldenberg began\u00a0Chicken Shop Date\u00a0as a column when she was 17.<\/p>\n<p>She then launched the series on YouTube in 2017, soon gaining over three million subscribers.<\/p>\n<p>The distinctive interview format saw Dimoldenberg sit opposite stars from music, film and sport, treating each encounter as an awkward, flirtatious date in the hope of finding love.<\/p>\n<p>Dimoldenberg also garnered attention for her deadpan humour while interacting with her various dates.<\/p>\n<p>Over the years, Dimoldenberg has \u201cdated\u201d A-listers including Cher, Andrew Garfield, Billie Eilish, Sabrina Carpenter and Ireland\u2019s own Paul Mescal.<\/p>\n<p>One of the latest episodes saw Dimoldenberg sit down opposite Beatles\u2019 legend Paul announced the end of the popular show in an Instagram<a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/Dc0i_c4jRrA\/?img_index=1&amp;igsi=MW1waDNmdXNramwwag%3D%3D\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\"> post<\/a>, sharing a photo of a letter that read \u201dall good dates must come to end\u201d.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI never thought I\u2019d stop Chicken Shop Date, I thought maybe it would be a part of me forever, and in some way it always will, but I feel like it\u2019s now time to move on from this adventure and onto a new one,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019ve spent my entire twenties sitting across from the most incredible people, people I\u2019d always dreamt of meeting<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTo me the show is my very own romcom and I have loved creating so many stories for you href=\"https:\/\/www.radiotimes.com\/going-out\/gary-lineker-amelia-dimoldenberg-edinburgh-tv-festival-2026-newsupdate\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">interview <\/a>at the Edinburgh TV festival earlier this month, Dimoldenberg revealed that she is developing a young adult drama for the BBC which she likened to the popular show Skins.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>She is also set to produce and star in an upcoming romantic comedy for Amazon MGM Studios.<\/p>\n<p>According to <a href=\"https:\/\/variety.com\/2026\/film\/news\/chicken-shop-date-amelia-dimoldenberg-star-produce-rom-com-1236657969\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Variety<\/a>, Dimoldenberg inhabits a familiar role as a \u201cby-the-book journalist whose carefully planned life unravels when a routine celebrity interview unexpectedly turns into a romance that makes her question everything she believes about love.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>However, Dimoldenberg assured there are still some awkward celebrity dates to see over on YouTube before she says goodbye.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI want to celebrate everything Chicken Shop Date has been for me with a few final dates\u2026coming very soon\u201d, she wrote.<\/p>\n<p>                <script async
