\n Held at Alliance Fran\u00e7aise, Ikoyi, Lagos, the event created a space for founders to move beyond the polished narratives of entrepreneurship and engage with the realities behind the journey, from leadership and long-term decision-making to creativity, risk, resilience, relationships and people.

\n The day opened with Chude Jideonwo’s keynote on The Future of Leadership, and he didn’t waste time getting to the point: before a founder fixes their strategy, they need to fix their people. Markets shift. Products evolve. Strategies get rewritten. The one constant that determines whether a business survives all of it is who’s in the room when it happens.

\n He went further to describe leadership as a demanding, often unglamorous journey, one that if done honestly, builds the wisdom and resilience founders need for the highs and the harder days in between.

\n From leadership, the conversation turned to The Audacity to Create, where Tochukwu MacFoy (Founder, Energized Central) and Biodun Stephen (Founder, Shutterspeed Projects) tackled a harder question than most panels attempt: what does it actually take to trust an idea enough to keep building it when nothing about the outcome is guaranteed?

\n Next came Building for the Future, a fireside with Bayo Adedeji, Group CEO of Wakanow, moderated by Joel Moses Babatunde (OgaHR). Adedeji didn’t romanticize the founder’s journey, he named its many roles plainly, and pushed back on a trap a lot of builders fall into: measuring progress by applause instead of by the work.

\n Then, Risk, Resilience & Results, a fireside with Dr. Joachim “Ogarisk” Adenusi, Co-Founder and CEO of Peerless Software Global Services, moderated by Precious Eniayekan (Group Head of Marketing, SLOT Systems Limited), drew a sharp line between risk that’s calculated and risk that’s just recklessness wearing a founder’s confidence.

\n Closing the sessions, Networking and People brought together Dare Aliu (Group MD, TDA Group Africa), Ashley Emmanuel (Co-Founder & COO, Semicolon) and Dr. Chinonso Egemba (Founder, Aproko Doctor Global & Awadoc), moderated by Esohe Igbinobah (Director of Programs & Partnerships, Businessfront). Their message: real networking isn’t collecting contacts, it’s giving before you ask.
\n <\/p>\n
\n And the room didn’t just listen. Founders pushed back, asked pointed questions, and pulled the conversations from the stage into the specifics of their own businesses, turning each session from a talk into an exchange.
\n <\/p>\n
\n By the end, the founders in that room were leaving with more than notes. They were leaving with a sharper instinct for the teams they need to build, the risks worth taking, the decisions worth playing long, and the relationships worth investing in before they’re ever transactional.
\n <\/p>\n
\n At its core, Founder’s Rant X 2.0 existed to hold the conversations that usually happen after the mic is off, the ones about fear, fatigue, and the long, unglamorous ride of building something real.

\n Because a great idea was never the hard part. The hard part is the people, the adaptability, and the discipline to keep going before there’s any proof it’ll work.

\n Founder’s Rant X 2.0 was a room full of people doing exactly that, a celebration of the builders, and a reminder that the future belongs to those still willing to build for it.

\n And the conversation isn’t over. Founders Rant X heads to Abuja on the 27th<\/strong> of September 2026 <\/strong>for its next edition, bringing the same honesty, the same builders, and the same unfiltered conversations to a new room.
