\n\tThe Heated Rivalry<\/a> Season 2 cast keeps expanding.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe Crave<\/a> original series, which plays on HBO<\/a> in the U.S., has added\u00a0Kevin Zegers<\/a>\u00a0(The Madison,\u00a0Transamerica) as Coach Wiebe,\u00a0Paul Gross<\/a>\u00a0(Good Night\u00a0and Good Luck\u00a0on Broadway, Tales of the City) as Commissioner Roger Crowell and\u00a0Milla Jovovich<\/a>\u00a0(Resident Evil,\u00a0The Fifth Element) as Dr. Galina Molchalina for its upcoming season, which is due to premiere in Spring 2027.<\/p>\n

\n\tThey join the likes of leads Hudson Williams<\/a> and Connor Storrie<\/a> in the gay ice hockey drama about a pair of professional players who mask their secret love with a fierce rivalry on the ice. <\/p>\n

\n\tOther cast for Season 2 includes Justice Smith, Charlie Gillespie, Daniel Diemer, Shaheen Jafargholi, Robert Naylor, Sophie N\u00e9lisse, Ksenia Daniela Kharlamova, Edvin Ryding, Fran\u00e7ois Arnaud, Christina Chang, Dylan Walsh, Robbie G.K., Callan Potter, Benjamin Roy, Kamilla Kowal, Emily Hampshire, Sabrina Jalees, and Priyanka. We revealed<\/a> several of the returning cast earlier this week.<\/p>\n

\n\tAccent Aigu Entertainment produces the show in association with Bell Media-owned Crave. It is created by Jacob Tierney and based on Rachel Reid\u2019s bestselling\u00a0Game Changers\u00a0books.<\/p>\n

\n\tCrave ordered the show with the participation of the Canada Media Fund. Tierney is writer, director, and executive producer. Brendan Brady and Jayme Alter Wilson also serve as executive producers, with Lori Fischburg and Liane Cunje the producers. Book author Rachel Reid is consulting producer and Mike Goldbach serves as co-writer on Season 2.<\/p>\n

\n\tFor Bell Media, Adam Feigen is Development Executive, Scripted Original Programming; Rachel Goldstein-Couto is Head of Development; Melissa Williamson is Senior Production Executive; Sarah Fowlie is Head of Production; Li Yeh is Director, Strategic Planning, Brian Blazik is Head of Bell Media Sales, Sphere Abacus<\/a>; Carlyn Klebuc is General Manager, Original Programming; and Justin Stockman is Vice President, Global Content.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tBell\u2019s UK-based distribution business Sphere Abacus sells the show internationally, initially shopping it to the likes of HBO Max in U.S., Europe and Australia, and Sky in the UK.<\/p>\n
