Westlife<\/a> have been confirmed as the headline performers for Katie Taylor<\/a>\u2019s farewell fight at Croke Park<\/a> this Saturday. <\/p>\n

Bray boxer Taylor bids to sign off her remarkable career as a three-time undisputed champion.<\/p>\n

The London 2012 Olympic gold medal winner takes on France\u2019s undefeated Flora Pili in front of 80,000 fans in Dublin.<\/p>\n

Westlife said they are \u201cso honoured to be asked by Katie to perform\u201d on what they described as a historic night.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe has inspired the whole country and we couldn\u2019t be prouder to perform for her at Croke Park, a stadium that also means so much to us.\u201d <\/p>\n

Westlife have sold out the home of the Gaelic Athletic Association<\/a> six times over their career.<\/p>\n

With more than 55 million records sold worldwide, more than 6 million concert tickets, and several UK and Irish No 1 singles \u2013 including hits such as Flying Without Wings, Queen of My Heart, and You Raise Me Up \u2013 Westlife are one of Ireland\u2019s biggest-selling acts.<\/p>\n

Saturday night\u2019s performance comes just days before their worldwide 25th anniversary tour kicks off with a 13-night residency at Dublin\u2019s 3Arena next week.<\/p>\n

Their anniversary tour will see them take the international stage, with more than 150 live shows booked across multiple continents. <\/p>\n

Further entertainment for Saturday\u2019s event will be announced later this week. <\/p>\n

The fight will be shown live worldwide on DAZN and in Ireland on RT\u00c9 2. <\/p>\n
