\n\tSadie Sink had to dodge questions for months over whether or not she was playing Jean Grey in the lead-up to \u201cSpider-Man: Brand New Day,\u201d and now it seems like DC star Adria Arjona<\/a> may have to do the same for the \u201cSuperman<\/a>\u201d sequel, \u201cMan of Tomorrow<\/a>.\u201d <\/p>\n

\n\tDetails about her role have remained shrouded in mystery, but DC fans are speculating that Arjona will debut as Wonder Woman<\/a> in the rebooted superhero universe. While promoting her new action movie \u201cOnslaught,\u201d Arjona explained her workout regime in a video with Women\u2019s Health, and it sounds like the sort of rigorous training an Amazonian superhero would undergo.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI\u2019ve been boxing for years now. I think it\u2019s something that allows me to get out of my head. You have to be so present at boxing because you can get punched. Boxing has made me so confident. Nothing makes you more confident than punching something, to be hitting it hard and hearing that pad. You\u2019re like, \u2018Hell yeah, I\u2019m I\u2019m powerful,’\u201d she says in the video. \u201cI think boxing has taught me that I can learn things quick. So it makes me feel really confident when learning lines or learning certain combos or even doing stunts. I feel more confident because throughout the years I\u2019ve been able to learn these combos. They stay with me. When I show up to set and have to do a stunt choreography, I just feel strong.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tArjona was originally reported to be playing the villain Maxima, an alien queen who\u2019s been a villain and love interest for Superman in the comics, in \u201cMan of Tomorrow\u201d next year. But then, rumors began to swirl that Maxima was really a decoy and she would actually be playing Wonder Woman<\/a>, who was previously brought to life by Gal Gadot in the DCEU. Arjona explained her \u201cMan of Tomorrow\u201d training, but didn\u2019t name the character she\u2019s playing.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI wake up. I do cardio for about 45 minutes,\u201d she explained. \u201cThen I do weightlifting for about two hours. Then after the workout, I\u2019ll have a bite to eat. We\u2019ll box for six rounds and then I eat again. And then I eat and I eat and I go to sleep. It\u2019s a job. I\u2019m really enjoying it. I\u2019m enjoying the transformation, but it\u2019s it\u2019s hard work. I\u2019ve never felt stronger, but it\u2019s hard. The excitement of playing the woman I\u2019m playing gives me everything I need to wake up. Physically, it\u2019s exhausting, but it\u2019s all for the greater good.\u201d<\/p>\n
