{"id":673304,"date":"2026-09-05T03:28:24","date_gmt":"2026-09-05T03:28:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ie\/673304\/"},"modified":"2026-09-05T03:28:24","modified_gmt":"2026-09-05T03:28:24","slug":"nta-to-be-grilled-on-fare-increases-before-oireachtas-committee","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ie\/673304\/","title":{"rendered":"NTA to be grilled on fare increases before Oireachtas committee"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>THE NATIONAL TRANSPORT Authority (NTA) has been invited to appear before the Oireachtas Transport Committee over <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thejournal.ie\/bus-fare-train-fare-increase-7150903-Sep2026\/?utm_source=story\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">public transport fare increases<\/a> set to kick in next year.<\/p>\n<p>It was announced on Thursday that adult fares for public transport are to increase by an average of 15% in January.
