We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.<\/p>\n<p><strong class=\"sc-1uza6dc-1 eRQajs\">Your support makes all the difference.<\/strong>Read more<\/p>\n<p>Natalie Portman <a href=\"https:\/\/www.independent.co.uk\/arts-entertainment\/books\/news\/natalie-portman-life-of-m-book-rachel-cusk-b3034470.html\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">has welcomed her third child<\/a>, her first with her boyfriend, the French musician Tanguy Destable, according to multiple outlets.<\/p>\n<p>The Black Swan actor, 45, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.independent.co.uk\/life-style\/natalie-portman-pregnant-boyfriend-b2960066.html\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">gave birth to the child in Paris<\/a> last month, according to <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/people.com\/natalie-portman-welcomes-baby-no-3-her-first-with-partner-tanguy-destable-11986813\">People<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p>In photos published by <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2026\/09\/05\/parents\/natalie-portman-welcomes-baby-no-3-her-first-with-partner-tanguy-destable\/\">Page Six<\/a>, Portman was seen beaming while on a stroll in Paris, with Destable holding the baby in a carrier on his chest. The Independent has contacted Portman\u2019s representatives for comment.<\/p>\n<p>Portman has two older children, son Aleph, 15, and daughter Amalia, nine, with her ex-husband, the choreographer and director Benjamin Millepied. <\/p>\n<p>The actor <a href=\"https:\/\/www.independent.co.uk\/life-style\/natalie-portman-pregnant-boyfriend-b2960066.html\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">revealed her pregnancy in April<\/a> during an interview with <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.harpersbazaar.com\/celebrity\/a71052648\/natalie-portman-third-pregnancy-interview-2026\/\">Harper\u2019s Bazaar<\/a>, calling it a \u201cprivilege and a miracle.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Portman\u2019s father is a fertility specialist, so she said she grew up \u201chearing about how hard it is to get pregnant,\u201d adding that she\u2019s had \u201cso many people I love who\u2019ve had such a hard time with it that I want to be respectful around that as well.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ie\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/2246531081...jpeg\"  loading=\"lazy\" alt=\"Natalie Portman has welcomed her third child, her first with her boyfriend, the French musician Tanguy Destable, according to multiple outlets\" class=\"sc-1mc30lb-0 ggpMaE inline-gallery-btn\"\/>Natalie Portman has welcomed her third child, her first with her boyfriend, the French musician Tanguy Destable, according to multiple outlets (AFP\/Getty)<\/p>\n<p>She added that while fertility journeys are \u201csuch a beautiful, joyous thing,\u201d they\u2019re also \u201cnot an easy thing.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTanguy and I are very excited,\u201d she told the publication.<\/p>\n<p> \u201cAnd there\u2019s a calm and knowing myself: who I want to spend time with, what kind of energy I want around me that makes the experience so beautiful every day. And knowing it\u2019s probably the last time, I cherish every moment,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n<p>Portman, who lives in Paris, said she was spending the early stages of her pregnancy swimming and doing gyrotonics to keep strong and spending lots of time with her kids.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI try and do some kind of physical activity every day,\u201d Portman recently <a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.elle.com\/beauty\/makeup-skin-care\/a73319835\/natalie-portman-pregnancy-lena-dunham-movie-miss-dior-interview-2026\/\">Elle<\/a>. \u201cI either swim or walk, and do gyrotonics. I\u2019m still vegan. I take lots of vitamins. I try and sleep as much as possible.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere\u2019s been beautiful spring weather,\u201d she said, adding, \u201cso it\u2019s been pretty amazing to just walk in the incredible parks here and go see art.
