Hong Kong\u2019s first astronaut Lai Ka-ying and her two fellow Shenzhou-23 crew members will deliver a live lecture from space for students and teachers in the city and neighbouring Macau.<\/p>\n
Hong Kong authorities revealed on Saturday plans for live broadcasts of \u201cTiangong Class\u201d to take place soon, without specifying the date and time.<\/p>\n
The activity, jointly organised by the Hong Kong and Macau governments and the China Manned Space Agency, includes an expert lecture, an in-orbit demonstration and a question-and-answer session to showcase the environment in space.<\/p>\n
Hong Kong\u2019s Education Bureau will arrange for primary and secondary schoolteachers and students to watch the live broadcast on campuses on the day of the event, while a delegation from Macau will visit the city to attend \u201cTiangong Class\u201d.<\/p>\n
A live online broadcast will be arranged on the Information Services Department\u2019s website and Facebook page, as well as local television stations.<\/p>\n
