\n\tCalifornia, here we come<\/a> \u2014 again\u2026 possibly? hopefully? Ben McKenzie<\/a>\u00a0is weighing in on whether he\u2019d be interested in returning to\u00a0The O.C.<\/p>\n

\n\tIn a new interview with on\u00a0KIIS 1065, McKenzie was asked by the host if he would be open to \u201cre-doing\u201d The O.C.<\/a> by returning as \u201cone of the dads,\u201d referencing Peter Gallagher\u2019s Sandy Cohen role. <\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI don\u2019t know that there has ever been serious talks, but I\u2019d be up for it, sure,\u201d he responded. \u201cYeah, I think so, under the right circumstances. It was a great show. We had a great time. I learned a lot. I was so young. We were all young.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tHe added that his 10-year-old child, whom he shares with actress Morena Baccarin and briefly appeared in three episodes of season three, \u201cloved it.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI now have kids come up to me, teenagers, and they talk about what a fan they are of the show. \u2018You weren\u2019t even alive when it came out,\u2019\u201d McKenzie continued. \u201cThey watch it with their parents.\u201d <\/p>\n

\n\tThe 47-year-old\u2019s comments come after Mischa Barton<\/a>, who played his on-again, off-again love interest, Marissa Cooper, recently teased that a possible reunion<\/a> might be coming.<\/p>\n

\n\tDuring the Fox<\/a> teen drama\u2019s four-season run from 2003 to 2007 \u2014 named one of the best teen dramas of all time<\/a> by The Hollywood Reporter \u2014 McKenzie played Ryan Atwood, a troubled teen from Chino, California, who is taken in by his public defender Sandy and his family. Ryan becomes like a brother to Seth Cohen<\/a> (Adam Brody<\/a>) and is part of the show\u2019s central group alongside Summer Roberts (Rachel Bilson<\/a>) and Marissa.<\/p>\n

\n\tMcKenzie went on to lead the TV series Southland and Gotham following The O.C.
