The film, starring Jeremy Allen White, opens in theaters on October 24 and promises to capture the raw, soul-searching spirit of Springsteen’s 1982 masterpiece.

Unveiled this week, the trailer comes on the heels of a glowing reception at the Telluride Film Festival, where the movie earned a 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Directed by Scott Cooper and based on Warren Zanes’ acclaimed book, the film tells the story of how Springsteen, at a personal and creative crossroads, turned away from arena anthems and into his New Jersey bedroom to record one of his most stripped-down, vulnerable works.

“‘Nebraska’ is where Bruce chose truth over expectation—a choice that still reverberates through everything he’s written since,” said Cooper in a statement.

“At that crossroads, he could have chased the bright lights and the roar of arenas, but instead he turned inward, armed only with silence, a four-track recorder, and the courage to confront himself. For him to trust me with telling that story—the most vulnerable chapter of his life—is the greatest honor I’ve ever had as a filmmaker.”

For Springsteen himself, revisiting that time has been both personal and rewarding.

“This film takes a couple years out of my life and looks at them very closely, a time when I made Nebraska and went through some personal difficulties,” he said.

“I’m so appreciative of Jeremy Allen White and the entire cast for their wonderful and moving performances—and Scott Cooper, one of the most generous collaborators I’ve ever worked with.”

The cast includes Jeremy Strong (“Succession”) as Springsteen’s longtime manager Jon Landau, Paul Walter Hauser (“Naked Gun”) as guitar tech Mike Batlan, Odessa Young (“The Damned”) as Faye, Stephen Graham (“Adolescense”) as Springsteen’s father Doug, Gaby Hoffman (“Zero Day”) as his mother Adele, and David Krumholtz (“Oppenheimer”) as Columbia Records executive Al Teller.

Known affectionately as “The Boss,” Springsteen often speaks of his Irish roots; his maternal grandfather was from County Kildare, and he has built a loyal Irish following since first playing Slane in 1985. He is set to return to Ireland in May 2026 for what promises to be another unforgettable tour stop.

Produced by Cooper, Ellen Goldsmith-Vein, Eric Robinson, and Scott Stuber, “Springsteen: Deliver Me from Nowhere” boasts a team of top talent behind the scenes, including composer Jeremiah Fraites, cinematographer Masanobu Takayanagi, and Academy Award–nominated editor Pamela Martin.

As the October 24 release date approaches, anticipation is high for what promises to be more than a music biopic. It’s a meditation on truth, artistry, and the struggles that shaped one of America’s most enduring musicians.

Bruce Springsteen’s most haunting album, Nebraska, is getting the cinematic treatment in “Springsteen: Deliver Me from Nowhere”, a…

[263
18,117,19,17,47264,19872,47263,327
0":"post-67557","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-movies","8":"tag-eire","9":"tag-entertainment","10":"tag-ie","11":"tag-ireland","12":"tag-irish-entertainment","13":"tag-irish-news","14":"tag-irishcentral","15":"tag-movies
["GET
