The pair served up one of their pantomime fallouts on Sky Sports\u2019 coverage of the opening weekend of the Premier League season as Keane attacked a gaffe from stand-in goalkeeper Altay Bayindir that produced the only goal of the match.<\/p>\n
The United keeper was unable to deal with a first-half corner under pressure from William Saliba and Riccardo Calafiori nodded in on the line at the far post for what proved to be the only goal.<\/p>\n
Former United midfielder Keane had no sympathy for the Turk, who appealed for a foul, with the Sky Sports pundit saying: \u201cHe has to come with violence, he\u2019s got to be aggressive, he\u2019s got to be almost saying to players, \u2018Come in here, I\u2019m happy to deal with it\u2019.<\/p>\n

Fellow pundit Richards, though, argued Bayindir should have been better protected by his defence, saying: \u201cIf you look at the balance between Saliba and [Mason] Mount, he\u2019s getting ragdolled everywhere.<\/p>\n
\u201cI just thought [Matthijs] De Ligt could have come inside and Mount could have gone outside. I agree with Roy, Bayindir should have done a lot better, but when you\u2019ve got bodies in front of you\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n
That prompted Keane to interject, with the pair raising their voices to the apparent amusement of fellow pundit Daniel Sturridge.<\/p>\n
“The goalkeeper\u2019s on his heels, he should be on his toes. Saliba\u2019s doing very little to him,\u201d retorted Keane.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe job of that player in that role is to protect the goalkeeper so he can come and punch it,\u201d hit back Richards. \u201cThere\u2019s a lot of chaos going on.\u201d<\/p>\n
Keane had the final word, adding: \u201cThis is big boys\u2019 stuff. You can\u2019t babysit a goalkeeper. He should go and play chess.\u201d<\/p>\n
United dominated the chances but were unable to find an equaliser, and Keane did not share in optimism around the Red Devils\u2019 start to the campaign.<\/p>\n
