Bobby Deol<\/strong> is all set to enthral the audience with his new role in Aryan Khan<\/strong>‘s directorial debut The Ba***ds Of Bollywood<\/strong>. The series is set to premiere on September 18 on Netflix. He recently confessed that he felt fatherly emotions for Shah Rukh Khan\u2019s son while working with him on the project. Bobby also compared his journey as a star kid with Aryan’s, saying that it’s not easy to come out from the shadows of the biggest Indian superstar. The actor admitted that, unlike him, Aryan is ‘fearless.’<\/p>\n

Bobby Deol is all praises for his director, Aryan Khan and expressed feelings about being directed by him. In a conversation with Siddharth Kannan, he spoke about both his and Aryan’s journey in the industry. The actor said, \u201cI felt a lot of fatherly emotions, because I also have kids, and both of them want to come in this industry. It\u2019s not easy, because being from the family which is already existing and to come out of the shadows of the biggest Indian superstar in the world.”<\/p>\n

He added, “For me, it was my dad and brother. Being Shah Rukh Khan\u2019s son, it\u2019s not an easy task. But, I think this child has no fear for that. He is fearless. He has this fire that makes him so unique and one of his kind. When he was directing me, I always felt so nice and happy like my own son is directing me. I could just feel it.”<\/p>\n

Praising Aryan’s directing skills and revealing that he used to enact scenes to demonstrate them to the cast, Bobby stated, “The way he used to direct each and every one of us. He would enact those characters while explaining. He would get into the depth of it and make us do a lot of takes, because he knew that we have something which he was looking for. He would get that and then only he would say it\u2019s okay. I think that\u2019s an amazing quality.”<\/p>\n

The Ba***ds of Bollywood: Plot And Cast <\/p>\n

The upcoming Netflix series is a satirical drama that explores the raw side of Hindi film industry. Apart from making his directorial debut, Aryan also made his singing debut, featuring in the track Tenu Ki Pata alongside Punjabi singer Diljit Dosanjh. The Ba***ds of Bollywood stars Lakshya and Sahher Bambba in lead roles alongside Manoj Pahwa, Mona Singh, Manish Chaudhari, Raghav Juyal, Anya Singh, Vijayant Kohli, Rajat Bedi and Gautami Kapoor. The series also features special appearances by Bollywood superstars, including Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan and Salman Khan, who offer their humorous take on themes such as ambition, rivalry and fame.<\/p>\n
