Read AI Inc.<\/a>, an artificial intelligence startup that specializes in summarizing text, audio and video content to help workers understand it more quickly, is jumping on the agentic AI bandwagon with its latest update.<\/p>\n

With the launch of its Agentic Workflow Suite today, Read AI says it\u2019s providing users with a more comprehensive AI assistant. It helps them stay abreast of everything that\u2019s happening in the projects they\u2019re involved with, so they can waste as little time as possible catching up, improving their productivity.<\/p>\n

The Agentic Workflow Suite is based on Read AI\u2019s proprietary content summarization tool<\/a>, which helps enterprise workers to quickly understand what\u2019s happening across all of the communication and collaboration channels they use, including Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, Slack, Gmail, Zoom, Outlook, Salesforce and HubSpot.<\/p>\n

The startup believes that one of the best ways to use AI to accelerate the way people work is by making their digital interactions more efficient. By having a dedicated AI assistant that listens in on an employee\u2019s video calls and meetings and scans all of their email and chat communications, it negates the need for workers to take notes or struggle to remember important details, to-dos, deadlines and everything else that\u2019s going on.<\/p>\n

To that end, Read AI\u2019s Agentic Workflow Suite aims to support employees in a number of ways, providing a regular \u201cMonday briefing\u201d that summarizes all of the highlights from the previous week and their upcoming priorities for the week ahead. There\u2019s also an \u201cEnd of Week\u201d recap that covers the most important issues addressed over the previous few days and provides reminders about open action items and unanswered questions.<\/p>\n

In case employees want to dig deeper, they can delve into a series of topic-based summaries that help them to catch up on their most critical tasks and priorities. Then they can then peruse a list of \u201cRecommendations\u201d that reviews all work in play and the next steps they should take to get things moving.<\/p>\n

Another useful feature is the AI \u201cScheduler,\u201d which reviews each worker\u2019s availability, punctuality and engagement trends to try and schedule meetings at a time when the attendees will be most engaged.<\/p>\n

Read AI co-founder and Chief Executive David Shim said much of the inspiration for the Agentic Workflow Suite comes from a newly published study of workforce sentiment and behaviors<\/a>. The study spanned more than 5 million meetings on video conferencing platforms over the last six months, and identified a number of ways in which AI can help to reduce \u201cmeeting overload.\u201d<\/p>\n

In particular, it revealed that many modern workplaces are in a state of flux, with AI productivity tools already having a major impact on employee\u2019s working patterns, attitudes and expectations. One of the findings was especially telling: The study showed that employees who have already embraced AI tools are almost twice as likely to report higher productivity and six times more likely to begin the week with clarity and focus compared with those who don\u2019t.<\/p>\n

New Vice President of Product Management Justin Farris, who previously helped GitLab Inc. grow to become one of the most iconic DevSecOps platforms and heavily influenced the creation of the Agentic Workflow Suite,\u00a0said he sees Read AI becoming the default place where \u201cwork comes together\u201d at enterprises, calling it the \u201cCursor for productivity.\u201d<\/p>\n

Shim said there\u2019s more to come from the Agentic Workflow Suite, with new tools in the pipeline such as \u201cSearch Refresh\u201d and \u201cVacation Catch Up\u201d capabilities, set to land in a future update.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Monday Briefing agent alone saves the average worker 60 minutes of catch-up time every week and teams can reduce meeting load by 10% within a month,\u201d Shim said. \u201cOur vision is to be the ultimate assistant, keeping you in the loop while making next steps as simple as swiping on Tinder.\u201d<\/p>\n
