\n It’s become fondly known as the Pink Door on Henry St.\n <\/p>\n

But behind the pink door is a historic Limerick building that has been given a new lease of life as part of the 1 BQ development in Limerick city.<\/p>\n

The project was completed last year by developer Kirkland Investments and included commercial office and residential spaces, with Verizon now an anchor tenant.<\/p>\n

Next door is number 104. This is the former Bishop’s Palace, which was originally built around 1775 by Edmond Sexton Pery \u00a0<\/p>\n

It was the home of his brother, William Cecil Pery, who was Bishop of Limerick from 1784-94.\u00a0<\/p>\n

It’s considered one of the most impressive and imposing Palladian-designed Georgian buildings in Limerick City.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The renovation of this building is now complete, and it is getting a new lease of life as a series of serviced office spaces on Henry St. Each office space of restored, fitted out and is ready for occupancy\u00a0<\/p>\n

It features many original features such as a restored red brick facade, timber sash windows and the original staircase merged\u00a0<\/p>\n

The Palace will cater to businesses and individuals on the lookout for strategically placed, sleek, and eco-friendly working environments in Limerick’s business district.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Spanning three levels and encompassing 13,000 square feet, the new office spaces in the historic Bishops\u2019 Palace are being pitched as a space to attract startups, scale-ups and corporate businesses.\u00a0<\/p>\n
