Princess Eugenie looked typically chic as she stepped out to mark the launch of London<\/a> Fashion Week alongside a host of glamorous A-listers on Thursday evening.<\/p>\n

The late Queen’s granddaughter, 35, appeared in great spirits when arriving at the reopening of The Chiltern Firehouse, which was badly damaged by a large fire<\/a> in February.<\/p>\n

Eugenie, daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson<\/a>, opted for a sleek monochrome ensemble, pairing tailored trousers with an oversized blazer over a cream blouse for her outing in\u00a0Marylebone.<\/p>\n

She completed the look with a touch of autumnal colour, slinging a burgundy leather designer handbag over her shoulder.<\/p>\n

Famous faces from the world of fashion, art, and high society gathered to kick off the five-day fashion event, which runs from September 18 to September 22 for the Spring\/Summer 2026 collections.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The likes of Kate Moss<\/a>, Madonna<\/a>, Iris Law<\/a> and Lila Moss<\/a> joined Eugenie on the night as they were hosted by Mert Alas and\u00a0Seventy One Gin.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The Chiltern Firehouse has recently reopened, though it is currently operating at a limited capacity.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Emergency services rushed to the five-star hotel in Marylebone on Valentine’s Day<\/a> after a fire stemming from a pizza oven ripped through the ground floor, causing the partial destruction of the celebrity hotspot.<\/p>\n

Dramatic footage from the night showed the former fire station and popular lodging for A-Listers and royals engulfed in flames while approximately 125 firefighters battled to bring the inferno under control.<\/p>\n

The Chiltern Firehouse, a restaurant and boutique hotel with rooms costing as much as \u00a35,000 per night, occupies the Grade II listed building of the former Marylebone Fire Station.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The blaze, which broke out just hours before Valentine’s Day dinner service commenced, started in the building’s extraction system, leading from the ground floor to the roof.<\/p>\n

The fire service said the blaze started accidentally from ‘burning wood falling from a pizza oven and igniting the void between the basement and ground floor’.<\/p>\n

London Brigade assistant commissioner Paul McCourt said: ‘Crews worked incredibly hard for over eight hours in arduous conditions.<\/p>\n

‘Presented with a complex fire in a historically significant building, formerly Manchester Square Fire Station, firefighters successfully contained the fire, preventing it from spreading to neighbouring properties.’<\/p>\n

Eugenie’s outing comes after she shared a touching photo of the Duchess of Kent <\/a>on her wedding day following her funeral this week.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The princess paid a heartfelt tribute to the Duchess following her funeral – sharing an image from the late royal’s wedding in 1961.<\/p>\n

Eugenie took to Instagram to re-post a photograph shared by the royal family on Instagram, which honoured the 91-year-old Duchess, who died on Thursday September 4.<\/p>\n

Members of the Royal Family attended the funeral at Westminster Cathedral on Tuesday to say goodbye to Katharine, including the Duke of Kent – who appeared emotional as he laid his wife of 64 years to rest.<\/p>\n

Other senior royals in attendance included the King, the Prince and Princess of Wales, the Princess of Royal, as well as Eugenie’s father, Prince Andrew, and her mother, Sarah Ferguson.<\/p>\n

Eugenie, who didn’t attend the funeral, shared the black-and-white photo of the late Duchess looking resplendent on the day of her wedding to the Duke of Kent in 1961.<\/p>\n

She included a love heart emoji in the post, which was shared to her Instagram Stories, and added text that read: ‘Remembering The Duchess of Kent.’<\/p>\n

The image showed Katharine, who preferred to be called ‘Mrs Kent’, smiling over her shoulder on her wedding day, while dressed in a long-sleeve white lace gown and carrying her bouquet as her long veil trailed behind her.<\/p>\n

Next to her, looking down at his bride, was the Duke of Kent. The couple were married at York Minster in York; the Duchess had insisted they wed in her home county of Yorkshire despite the fact the cathedral had not been used as a royal wedding venue for hundreds of years.<\/p>\n

The photo shared by Eugenie was part of a series of images posted by the official Instagram account for the Royal Family.<\/p>\n

The post included pictures from throughout the late Duchess’ life, from welcoming her and Prince Edward’s first child, George Windsor and supporting Wimbledon, to meeting Nelson Mandela and embarking on royal trips to India and West Africa.<\/p>\n

One photo showed a memorable moment between the Duchess and Czech tennis player Jana Novotn\u00e1 in the 1993 Wimbledon championship, after the latter lost the Wimbledon Ladies’ Final.<\/p>\n

A tearful Jana was pictured being embraced by the Duchess, who displayed a ‘moment of compassion remembered forever’.<\/p>\n

In another image, the young Duke and Duchess are pictured beaming as they looked into one another’s eyes and posed arm-in-arm after announcing their engagement.<\/p>\n

‘Proudly of Yorkshire heritage, Her Royal Highness became a working Member of The Royal Family following her marriage, and in 1977 she was created a Dame Grand Cross of the Royal Victorian Order (GCVO),’ the Royal Family’s Instagram account wrote in the caption.<\/p>\n
