{"id":73824,"date":"2025-09-19T17:53:09","date_gmt":"2025-09-19T17:53:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ie\/73824\/"},"modified":"2025-09-19T17:53:09","modified_gmt":"2025-09-19T17:53:09","slug":"man-fears-daughter-exposed-to-sexualised-behaviour-due-to-mothers-onlyfans-activity-the-irish-times","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ie\/73824\/","title":{"rendered":"Man fears daughter exposed to \u2018sexualised behaviour\u2019 due to mother\u2019s OnlyFans activity \u2013 The Irish Times"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"c-paragraph paywall b-it-article-body__text--left\">A man is concerned that his young daughter is being exposed to sexualised behaviour due to her mother\u2019s alleged activities on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.irishtimes.com\/tags\/onlyfans\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.irishtimes.com\/tags\/onlyfans\/\">OnlyFans<\/a> platform, a court has heard.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph paywall \">Mair\u00e9ad Doyle, solicitor for the man, told Judge Alec Gabbett at the Family Law Court that her client has made a complaint to An Garda S\u00edoch\u00e1na and Tusla concerning his ex-wife\u2019s alleged activity on the website, known mainly for its subscription-based adult content.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph paywall \">Ms Doyle said the woman has also allegedly uploaded content to publicly accessible forums which do not require payment.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph paywall \">The couple are divorced and Ms Doyle said the mother has custody of their daughter. <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph paywall \">She said her client has provided her with screenshots from videos of the woman engaging in sexual activity with others. <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph paywall \">Ms Doyle said the man\u2019s fear is that the mother is filming explicit content in the home while their child is present there.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph paywall \">\u201cThe father\u2019s concern is that the daughter is being exposed to over-sexualised behaviour in the home and the child is at risk so much so that he has made contact with the garda\u00ed,\u201d Judge Gabbett said. <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph paywall \">Ms Doyle said this was the case. Judge Gabbett said that if Tusla was aware of the allegations, and they proved to be correct, they would take the young girl out of the home.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph paywall \">Ms Doyle said a Protection Order on behalf of the child, sought by the father in the District Court against the mother, is under consideration. She said a Circuit Court application to vary access is also an option for the father but would take longer.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph paywall \">\u201cThere would want to be very strong grounds for a Protection Order.
