Armagh<\/a> after performing to a packed audience of almost 1,000 people at the Armagh City Hotel on Saturday night.<\/p>\nManford, who is currently touring venues across the UK and Ireland, admitted he had some initial doubts when told the gig would take place in a function room of a hotel \u2013 but he was quick to say those fears were unfounded.<\/p>\n
Writing on social media after the show, he said: \u201cFantastic night in Armagh tonight! Not gonna lie when they told me it was in a function room of a hotel I was slightly dreading it! <\/p>\n
\u201cOften the lights, the sound, the stage can all be a bit \ud83d\udca9 but this was a dream! 900 people and I loved them! Real fun folk! Definitely be back next time!\u201d<\/p>\n
He also gave a shout-out to fellow comedian William Thompson, who provided support on the night, calling his set \u201cvery funny\u201d.<\/p>\n
The Salford-born comedian, well-known for his work on stage, television and radio, is continuing his tour with stops in Swansea, Taunton, Truro, Bath, Bristol and Tunbridge Wells next week. <\/p>\n
He returns to Northern Ireland on October 3 for a show in Belfast.<\/p>\n
His comments will be warmly welcomed by fans in the city as was his show. One of those in attendance \u2013 attending her fourth Manford show \u2013 said it was \u201cdefinitely his funniest show yet \u2013 certainly one for the struggling parents, and definitely worth putting my shoes on for!\u201d<\/p>\n
