There might be a lot of noise off the pitch, but Celtic are getting the job done on the field of play. <\/strong><\/p>\n

That was proven when Brendan Rodgers\u2019 side did their job by seeing off Partick Thistle in the League Cup quarter-final at Firhill Park. <\/p>\n

Before the game, there was a lot of talk around Celtic\u2019s summer signing, Sebastian Tounekti<\/a>, after his debut performance against Kilmarnock the week before. <\/p>\n

The Celtic<\/a> winger, who is playing off the left, has brought an element of exciting and forward-thinking nature to the champions of Scotland<\/a>, and that was further proven on Sunday against Partick Thistle. <\/p>\n

Tounekti<\/a> scored Celtic\u2019s third goal of the game<\/a>, and it was a thing of beauty, with Reo Hatate and Kelechi Iheanacho also involved. <\/p>\n

Speaking on Premier Sports (21\/09\/25), Charlie Mulgrew<\/a> labelled the 23-year-old as a \u2018breath of fresh air\u2019 after joining from Hammarby. <\/p>\n

The former Celtic defender explained what the new kid on the block has brought to the table that has made him such a \u2018shining light\u2019 in the famous green and white colours. <\/p>\n

\u201cHe has been a breath of fresh air,\u201d stated Mulgrew. <\/p>\n

\u201cHe was going by the fullback. He wants the ball constantly. Forward runs. Encouraging forward passes. Tounekti is doing that constantly. It\u2019s really, really good to see.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cTounekti man, what a shining light he is. Somebody Celtic needs, and he was a really bright spark.\u201d<\/p>\n

There has been nothing more clearer about Tounekti after win over Partick Thistle\u00a0<\/p>\n

To nobody\u2019s surprise, just like at Rugby Park, Tounekti was named Man of the Match for the League Cup quarter-final. <\/p>\n

This is a point many have been making, but Mulgrew was wondering what would have happened had Tounekti been signed for those Champions League qualifiers<\/a>. <\/p>\n

\u201cHas there been one more clearer?\u201d responded Mulgrew on Tounekti winning Man of the Match. \u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cHe was brilliant for Celtic. The goal just after half-time was a touch of class. The way he comes inside. Doesn\u2019t go backwards \u2013 plays a nice pass into the striker, goes again and gets it. It\u2019s a great finish.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cHe really is a great find for Celtic.
