Tom Holland<\/a> has been injured on the set of Spider-Man: Brand New Day, reportedly suffering a mild concussion while filming a stunt.<\/p>\n

Several Hollywood trades including the Hollywood Reporter, Deadline and Variety separately confirmed the incident, which happened on set at Leavesden Studios in Watford in the UK<\/a> on Friday.<\/p>\n

Holland was reportedly injured while performing a stunt and left with a mild concussion after hitting his head.<\/p>\n

The 29-year-old was then taken to hospital. Nobody else was injured, Variety reported.<\/p>\n

The Sun reported Holland attended a charity dinner the next night with his father, Dominic, and his fiancee and costar Zendaya<\/a>, but left early after feeling ill.<\/p>\n

Filming was suspended on Friday after the incident and Holland will now take a break from filming for several days as a precaution. <\/p>\n

In the meantime Sony Pictures, which is co-producing the movie with Marvel Studios, will meet on Monday to decide how to move forward with the production, the Hollywood Reporter said.<\/p>\n

Spider-Man: Brand New Day is set to be released in July 2026 and marks Holland\u2019s fourth leading turn as the superhero, after 2017\u2019s Spider-Man: Homecoming<\/a>, 2019\u2019s Spider-Man: Far From Home<\/a> and 2021\u2019s Spider-Man: No Way Home<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Holland\u2019s co-stars Zendaya and Jacob Batalon are returning, as is Mark Ruffalo<\/a> as Bruce Banner (aka the Hulk), Jon Bernthal as the Punisher and Michael Mando as the Scorpion.
