However, she insists there is no bad blood and looks forward to reconnecting with Joanna in advance of Tuesday night\u2019s final. <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph paywall \">\u201cWhat we need to remember is people say things at the round table in the heat the moment that they don\u2019t mean,\u201d says Faye, who was eliminated in Monday\u2019s penultimate episode. <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph paywall \">\u201cWhen things are heated and when everyone\u2019s coming at you, it\u2019s hard not to take it personally. I think maybe that\u2019s just what happened in that scenario. There\u2019s definitely no bad blood there. I think she\u2019s an incredible person.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph paywall b-it-article-body__text--left\">Faye and Joanna clashed during a high-stakes conclusion to Sunday night\u2019s instalment. But 24 hours later, it was Faye who was on the chopping block after the remaining players wrongly <a href=\"https:\/\/www.irishtimes.com\/culture\/tv-radio\/2025\/09\/22\/the-traitors-ireland-more-creepy-twists-and-turns-as-things-go-insane-in-slane\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.irishtimes.com\/culture\/tv-radio\/2025\/09\/22\/the-traitors-ireland-more-creepy-twists-and-turns-as-things-go-insane-in-slane\/\">tagged her as a traitor and voted her out<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph paywall \">She left in tears, feeling she had been betrayed by her friends on the show \u2013 in particular Nick O\u2019Loughlin and Ben Donohue. Unbeknown to her, the duo were the two hidden traitors plotting her downfall. <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph paywall \">\u201cYou\u2019ve no contact with the outside world. All you have is each other. You build these relationships with each other. Maybe I\u2019m a little bit too trusting. But from my life and my experiences I\u2019m a very loyal friend. So for these people that I considered my real close friends to betray me, it hurts,\u201d Faye says.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph paywall \">\u201cIt does get very emotional. People will be like, \u2018oh you only know them two weeks\u2019. But it\u2019s two weeks with no phone, no TV, no nothing but pure connection and conversation. So you do get really wrapped into it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph paywall \">Faye was eliminated alongside \u201cfaithful\u201d Wilkin Garcia, who later revealed that he did not understand the format of the series and was making it up as he went. <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph paywall \">\u201cMy wife put me up. She made a quick video, sent the application,\u201d Wilkin says.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" data-chromatic=\"ignore\" alt=\"The Traitors Ireland contestant Wilkin Garcia\" class=\"c-image\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ie\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/JJFTX6UH4FDLHEQL4BPD4KVSGQ.jpg\"   width=\"800\" height=\"450\"\/>The Traitors Ireland contestant Wilkin Garcia <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph paywall \">His family encouraged him to watch the other version of The Traitors that had aired globally. He had other ideas. \u201cI\u2019m like, \u2018nah. I\u2019m going to go in there blinded\u2019. I mean, how hard could it be? I thought there would be little clues \u2013 maybe like a murder mystery. But I was looking for physical clues.\u201d <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph paywall \">Faye was recruited while attending the National Ploughing Championships with her mother. She says that she has always wanted to be on television and would like to be a full-time influencer. When RT\u00c9 came knocking, she jumped at the opportunity. <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph paywall \">\u201c[We] just happened to walk by a booth and they pulled me in: \u2018Oh would you go on TV?\u2019 I filled in the application, took a picture and that was that,\u201d Faye recalls.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph paywall \">Her elimination leaves five contestants in the running: the faithful Oyin Adeyemi, Kelley Higgins, and Vanessa Ogbonna, and the traitors Nick and Ben. During her time on the show, Faye never once suspected that Nick and Ben were plotting against her. They were so vocal throughout the whole thing, being \u201ctraitor slayers\u201d. All of a sudden they\u2019re mute. It was the biggest telltale sign.
