The exaggerated curtsy Meghan Markle<\/a><\/strong> acted out on Netflix, and Prince Harry\u2019s<\/strong> reaction to it, is back in the spotlight. In the clip, Markle playfully recalled the time she first met Queen Elizabeth II. The moment shows Markle recounting when Harry had told her she would soon meet his grandmother, admitting she was surprised by the protocols. She played it for laughs, dramatically hunching forward, but Harry reportedly didn\u2019t appear quite as amused as Markle.<\/p>\n

Expert says Prince Harry\u2019s body language shifted when Meghan Markle mocked the royal curtsy<\/p>\n

Jes\u00fas Enrique Rosas spoke to The Mirror<\/a>, analyzing Prince Harry\u2019s reaction to Meghan Markle\u2019s exaggerated curtsy on camera. The duchess compared it to something out of the dinner theater \u201cMedieval Times, Dinner and Tournament.\u201d At the time, the clip stirred backlash, splitting viewers between finding the demonstration lighthearted and disrespectful.<\/p>\n

As for Harry<\/a>, he was seemingly \u201cserious and maybe even angry\u201d at Markle\u2019s mockery. Rosas pointed out that \u201cthere\u2019s no connection, no empathy in him.\u201d He added, \u201cNotice what happens with his throat, he is swallowing at that moment.\u201d<\/p>\n

It wasn\u2019t obvious at a glance, but, according to Rosas, Harry\u2019s flushed face gave away what he was really feeling, claiming, \u201cHe is looking at Meghan and he displays contempt.\u201d The expert added, \u201cA split second after that, he looks away and presses his jaw,\u201d interpreting it as \u201ccovert anger.\u201d<\/p>\n

Additionally, Rosas explained, \u201cIf he was ashamed, he would have smiled a bit more, or [had] a nervous laughter. But he knew what was coming and he couldn\u2019t stand it.\u201d The expert thus concluded that Harry was uncomfortable with the way his wife dismissed royal formality.<\/p>\n

According to Rosas, it may have been a playful reenactment, but the duke<\/a>\u2019s reaction proved that the weight of royal history doesn\u2019t disappear easily. All in all, the expert\u2019s breakdown adds another layer to a marriage that has always been under scrutiny.<\/p>\n
