Christina Aguilera <\/strong>has still got it.<\/p>\n

The songstress rose to fame in the 00s era but is still performing her hit songs in concert \u2014 and she looks great, too. On Sept. 22, the “Genie in a Bottle” singer, 44, shared some footage from a recent show in which she danced around in an embellished leotard.<\/p>\n

“Deep roots,” she captioned the Instagram post<\/a>.<\/p>\n

While many fans commented on just how great Aguilera looks, others took to the comments section with more important business. It seems fans are becoming frustrated with the pop star for not releasing any new music \u2014 and the requests are loud and clear.<\/p>\n

“How long are going to wait for that album? We deserve a double album,” one person wrote<\/a>.<\/p>\n

“My body is ready for new music queen,” someone else said<\/a>.<\/p>\n

“New album, pleaseeee,” a third comment read<\/a>.<\/p>\n

“Release the damn new album!!!!” a fourth Instagram user added<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Aguilera’s last album Aguilera was released in May 2022. In April 2025, Aguilera strongly suggested that she was back in the studio.<\/p>\n

“No tour right now, it’s record time,” she told The Mirror<\/a>. Three months later, Aguilera uploaded a video of herself<\/a> in the recording studio, which sent longtime fans into a frenzy.<\/p>\n

In the time since, fans have been anxiously awaiting an update, but Aguilera hasn’t shared many details of the timeline of her next album.<\/p>\n

Aguilera released her very album \u2014 her self-titled debut \u2014 in 1999 which debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200. This effectively kicked off her career, which has resulted in nine studio albums, five Grammy wins, and countless other accolades. A new album could mark a major comeback for the pop star, who continues to charm her fans worldwide.<\/p>\n
