X alternative Bluesky seems to be having one of those days. I first noticed that my \u201cFollowing\u201d feed \u2014 which is supposed to load posts chronologically \u2014 wasn\u2019t showing any posts more recent than two hours ago. I follow 728 accounts right now, some of which are extremely online, so I knew something must be up.<\/p>\n
While Bluesky\u2019s own service page<\/a> doesn\u2019t currently report any outage, Down Detector shows a spike in reports<\/a> from the last two hours, so it\u2019s not just me. One of my colleagues is seeing the same problem as me, with only older posts appearing, while another is actually seeing an error message warning that \u201csome kind of issue occurred when contacting the feed server.\u201d Then again, another colleague is seeing his feed load just fine, so whatever\u2019s gone wrong, it doesn\u2019t appear to be universal.<\/p>\n We\u2019ve reached out to Bluesky for comment.<\/p>\n Update, September 24th:<\/strong> Added confirmation that not every Bluesky user\u2019s feed is broken.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"X alternative Bluesky seems to be having one of those days.
