Liverpool will face Crystal Palace<\/a> in the fourth round of the Carabao Cup<\/a> after progressing to the last 16 with a win over Southampton<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n

There are only 16 clubs left in the competition after the completion of the third round, with Liverpool progressing thanks to goals from Alexander Isak<\/a> and Hugo Ekitike<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Wednesday\u2019s draw saw Arne Slot<\/a>\u2018s side pitted against Palace, with the tie to be played at Anfield<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Liverpool meet Palace in the Premier League<\/a> on Saturday and have already met in the Community Shield this season \u2013 and a Marc Guehi appearance at Anfield will dominate the pre-match narratives. <\/p>\n

This is the seventh season in a row that Liverpool have reached this stage of the competition, they have progressed to the final in the last two seasons.<\/p>\n
