{"id":83788,"date":"2025-09-25T00:37:12","date_gmt":"2025-09-25T00:37:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ie\/83788\/"},"modified":"2025-09-25T00:37:12","modified_gmt":"2025-09-25T00:37:12","slug":"woman-70s-dies-from-injuries-following-kerry-crash","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ie\/83788\/","title":{"rendered":"Woman, 70s, dies from injuries following Kerry crash"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Garda\u00ed are appealing for witnesses after a woman died from her injuries following a crash in Kerry.<\/p>\n<p>The collision occurred on the R557 at Ballyhorgan West in Lixnaw on Thursday, September 18.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">The driver of the only car involved in the incident (a woman aged in her 70s) was conveyed to University Hospital Kerry and has since died.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">No other injuries were reported.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">Garda\u00ed are appealing for any witnesses to this collision to come forward.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">A spokesperson said: &#8220;Any road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) and were travelling on the R557 in the area of Ballyhorgan West between 1pm and 2pm on Thursday, September 18 are asked to make this footage available to investigating garda\u00ed.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">&#8220;Anyone with any information should contact Listowel Garda Station on 068 50820, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda Station.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">&#8220;Investigations are ongoing.&#8221;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Garda\u00ed are appealing for witnesses after a woman died from her injuries following a crash in Kerry.
