While I was expecting Forza Horizon 6 to be announced during the Xbox Tokyo Game Show stream later today, the official Forza Horizon Instagram account revealed the news early in a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DO_6R7BjG5I\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">teaser trailer<\/a> this morning.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1ymtmqpi _17nnmdy1 _17nnmdy0 _1xwtict1\">\u201cThe Horizon Festival is heading to Japan,\u201d reads a description on the Instagram video, also confirming the 2026 release window. The teaser trailer also reveals that Forza Horizon 6 will be available on Xbox Game Pass, and as an Xbox Play Anywhere title.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1ymtmqpi _17nnmdy1 _17nnmdy0 _1xwtict1\">The confirmation of a 2026 release window for Forza Horizon 6 means it\u2019s a busy upcoming year for Xbox, and Playground Games in particular. Xbox chief Phil Spencer <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theverge.com\/news\/682493\/did-microsoft-just-tease-a-halo-ce-remaster\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">casually revealed earlier this year<\/a> that the next Forza would arrive in 2026, and Forza Horizon 6 will also be joined by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theverge.com\/news\/682283\/gears-of-war-e-day-release-date-2026\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Gears of War: E-Day<\/a>, a Halo CE remaster, and Playground Games\u2019 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theverge.com\/news\/619046\/microsoft-xbox-fable-game-delay-2026\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Fable<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1ymtmqpi _17nnmdy1 _17nnmdy0 _1xwtict1\">Forza Horizon 6 will debut a year after Microsoft released the previous instalment, Forza Horizon 5, on PS5.
