Now, a new exhibition, Atlas, dedicated to the British-born fashion photographer and portraitist, opens today (September 25) in Milan at the 10-Corso-Como Gallery. Running until November 11, the show marks Luchford’s first-ever solo exhibition, conceived and designed by the photographer himself as a dynamic, site-specific journey through his oeuvre.

With a career spanning 30 years, his work has transgressed many visual binaries. Whether it be a melodramatically supine Stella Tennant bathed in a rosy Wong Kar Wai-esque light, the stony-faced model positioned strikingly next to a stuffed tiger in his SS17 Gucci campaign, or Sonic Youth guitarist Thurston Moore captured in dreamlike motion for the cover of Another Man, Luchford’s work is underpinned by a marriage between the cinematic and the subcultural.

Luchford’s expansive visual universe, described by the photographer himself as a “visual orgy”, will be displayed at 10-Corso-Como in a way that encompasses the full dynamism of his work. The exhibition will showcase some of the photographer’s most famed shots and fashion campaigns, including his now-iconic images of a young Kate Moss, taken while Luchford was still a self-taught photographer for The Face magazine.

Luchford’s distinct editorial imagery will be available to view in conjunction with collages, outtakes, mistakes and personal images, offering a unique and layered perspective into his working practice. Visitors will also be able to view a never-before-seen installation of his most notable fashion films, mirroring a connectivity between the static and the mobile (described by Luchford as “an in-between moment”) that reinforces the filmic flavour of much of his work.

Glen Luchford’s Atlas is on display at 10-Corso-Como Gallery in Milan until 11 November 2025.

From his teenage depictions of Brighton’s skateboarders to his Hitchcockian-lit 90s Prada campaigns, Glen Luchford’s raw and vivid…

[267
595,365,362,363,364,601,600,602,603,604,605,606,366,18,117,596,597,598,599,19,17,337
0":"post-84945","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-arts-and-design","8":"tag-art","9":"tag-arts","10":"tag-arts-and-design","11":"tag-artsanddesign","12":"tag-artsdesign","13":"tag-dazed","14":"tag-dazed-confused","15":"tag-dazed-confused-magazine","16":"tag-dazed-and-confused","17":"tag-dazed-and-confused-magazine","18":"tag-dazedconfused","19":"tag-dazeddigital","20":"tag-design","21":"tag-eire","22":"tag-entertainment","23":"tag-fashion","24":"tag-film","25":"tag-ideas","26":"tag-ideas-sharing-network","27":"tag-ie","28":"tag-ireland","29":"tag-music
["GET
