The wool market rallied again this week, with the AWEX Eastern Market Indicator (EMI) advancing 25 cents its ninth straight weekly rise, the longest run since 2009.<\/p>\n
Both selling days recorded increases, extending the daily rally to 16 consecutive sessions, the longest since AWEX records began in 1997.<\/p>\n
The EMI is now at its highest level since March 2023.<\/p>\n
Auctions followed a familiar pattern, with 29,923 bales offered across two days in Sydney and Melbourne and one in Fremantle.<\/p>\n
