{"id":87626,"date":"2025-09-26T22:48:15","date_gmt":"2025-09-26T22:48:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ie\/87626\/"},"modified":"2025-09-26T22:48:15","modified_gmt":"2025-09-26T22:48:15","slug":"eden-confidential-princess-beatrice-is-bound-out-of-her-grandfather-prince-philips-favourite-charity-for-which-he-served-as-patron-for-65-years-after-mother-fergies-leaked-email-scandal","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ie\/87626\/","title":{"rendered":"EDEN CONFIDENTIAL: Princess Beatrice is bound out of her grandfather Prince Philip&#8217;s favourite charity for which he served as patron for 65 years &#8211; after mother Fergie&#8217;s leaked email scandal"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">Over the past six years they&#8217;ve weathered the sort of storms that would have left other families fractured and riven with recrimination.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">But such are the intense, if unconventional, bonds between the Duke of York, his former wife Sarah and their two daughters, Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie, that their support for each other seems to grow ever stronger.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">It is, I&#8217;m sure, a pattern which will endure even now, in the aftermath of the latest \u2013 and arguably most distressing \u2013 revelation to date: the publication of an email Fergie wrote in 2011 and sent to <a style=\"font-weight: bold;\" target=\"_self\" href=\"https:\/\/www.dailymail.co.uk\/news\/jeffrey_epstein\/index.html\" id=\"mol-e41b9b60-9b0d-11f0-a56f-651296df438d\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Jeffrey Epstein<\/a>, who&#8217;d been released from prison for sex offences two years earlier.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">In it, she described him as a &#8216;steadfast, generous and supreme friend&#8217; and, acknowledging that he would feel &#8216;hellaciously&#8217; let down by criticisms of him she&#8217;d voiced in public, she &#8216;humbly apologised&#8217; to him for having done so.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">Since then, eight charities have cut their ties with Fergie.
