Leonardo DiCaprio<\/a> was happy to witness a special moment at Oasis<\/a>\u2018 show in Los Angeles earlier this month. In an interview with NME<\/a>, the actor expressed his excitement about seeing the Gallagher brothers perform a cover of a Beatles<\/a>\u2018 song in front of Paul McCartney<\/a> himself.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was incredible. It was incredible to see them back together again,\u201d he told the outlet. \u201cAnd Paul McCartney was actually there, and I think they sang a Beatles song. I remember I was in the section next to him and the whole sort of stadium looked back at Paul and clapped for Paul too which was which was awesome.\u201d<\/p>\n

He added, \u201cIt was a great tip of the hat. So, it was a special night.\u201d<\/p>\n

Oasis, which is currently on their Live \u201925 tour, snuck in a tribute to the Beatles during their song \u201cWhatever,\u201d performing a snippet of the Beatles\u2019 \u201cOctopus\u2019 Garden\u201d as McCartney watched from the audience.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was a great tour. Everyone\u2019s so excited about it. Really, much like Radiohead when that happens, too,\u201d said DiCaprio, gushing about his love for Radiohead as well. \u201cI think everyone\u2019s going to do their best to be there for those moments.\u201d<\/p>\n

The historic Oasis Live \u201925 Tour will continue through November. The Gallagher brothers are scheduled to return to London for a pair of shows at Wembley this weekend, before heading to Asia, Australia, and South America.<\/p>\n

Liam Gallagher spoke to Rolling Stone <\/a>about discovering the Beatles and feeling connected to \u201cImagine\u201d following John Lennon\u2019s murder as a kid. When asked, \u201cYou said you\u2019d be God, that\u2019s the next highest thing to being in Oasis. So where would being in the Beatles rank on that list?\u201d Gallagher responded, \u201cIt\u2019s got to be being in Oasis, man.\u201d What about being God versus the Beatles? \u201cIt\u2019s got to be being in the Beatles,\u201d he responded. \u201cWhen was the last time God made a decent record?\u201d<\/p>\n
