Liverpool midfielder Ryan Gravenberch and his partner have shared a fresh family announcement. The 23-year-old has yet to appear in competitive action for Arne Slot<\/a>‘s squad in 2025\/26 despite playing a crucial part in securing the Premier League crown last season.<\/p>\n

Gravenberch was perhaps the unexpected star of the previous campaign as he thrived in a holding midfield position, featuring in 37 of 38 top-flight fixtures during Slot’s inaugural term at Anfield. Nevertheless, his development at the start of the new season has been delayed for an excellent reason.<\/p>\n

Initially, the Netherlands international was missing from the Liverpool<\/a> team that suffered defeat to Crystal Palace in the Community Shield as the evening before the fixture, his partner Cindy Peroti had delivered their first baby.<\/p>\n

He subsequently completed a ban that rolled over from the previous season for last Friday’s league curtain-raiser against Bournemouth.<\/p>\n

This enabled Gravenberch to dedicate additional time to his expanding family – and now he and Peroti have posted their inaugural social media announcement since bringing their child into the world.<\/p>\n

“Our little miracle has arrived [white heart emoji],” the pair wrote alongside a joint Instagram<\/a> post on Monday evening.<\/p>\n

The touching announcement has garnered considerable interest from Liverpool<\/a> colleagues, their partners and other figures within the football world. Hugo Ekitike, Conor Bradley and Dominik Szoboszlai all left heart eye emojis beneath the post.<\/p>\n

The Hungarian midfielder particularly understands the delight of such a family moment, having celebrated the arrival of his first child with wife Borka Buszik earlier this summer.<\/p>\n

Fellow Liverpool<\/a> dad Curtis Jones, who became a father last October, also left a heart emoji on Gravenberch’s announcement. His fiance\u0301e Saffie Khan wrote: “Perfect [pink heart emoji].”<\/p>\n

Cody Gakpo gave the post a like whilst his partner Noa van der Bij left a pink heart emoji.<\/p>\n

Additional squad members demonstrating their backing by liking the midfielder and his partner’s announcement included Virgil van Dijk, Alexis Mac Allister, Stefan Bajcetic, Jeremie Frimpong, Andy Robertson, Vitezslav Jaros, Milos Kerkez, Wataru Endo, Harvey Elliott, Ibrahima Konate and James McConnell.<\/p>\n

Former and current Dutch national team colleagues who engaged with the Gravenberch family news included ex-Liverpool<\/a> duo Ryan Babel and Gini Wijnaldum alongside Jorrel Hato, Noa Lang and Justin Kluivert.<\/p>\n
