When did you get hot?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Now, Carpenter has reacted, sharing the video on her own Instagram, saying: \u201cleast expected but best cover of the year award!!\u201d She also left a comment under his video, writing, \u201cThe vibes on the farm are immaculate.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"instagram-media\" data-instgrm-captioned=\"\" data-instgrm-permalink=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/reel\/DPC0DjuAXvM\/?utm_source=ig_embed&amp;utm_campaign=loading\" data-instgrm-version=\"14\" style=\" background:#FFF; border:0; border-radius:3px; box-shadow:0 0 1px 0 rgba(0,0,0,0.5),0 1px 10px 0 rgba(0,0,0,0.15); margin: 1px; max-width:658px; min-width:326px; padding:0; width:99.375%; width:-webkit-calc(100% - 2px); width:calc(100% - 2px);\">\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>In other news, Carpenter <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nme.com\/news\/music\/new-snl-schedule-features-sabrina-carpenter-as-both-musical-guest-and-host-3893601\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">is set to host\u00a0Saturday Night Live\u00a0for the first time ever<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The pop star will pull double duty on the third episode of the iconic show\u2019s 51st season on October 18. It will be the first time she has hosted, but she was previously a musical guest on season 49. She was also part of the show\u2019s\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nme.com\/news\/music\/paul-mccartney-sabrina-carpenter-paul-simon-and-more-added-to-snl-50-concert-3838256\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">50th anniversary celebrations back in February,\u00a0<\/a>at one point appearing in a sketch where she sang an off-key version of \u2018Espresso\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nme.com\/news\/music\/coachella-2026-sabrina-carpenter-justin-bieber-and-karol-g-to-headline-3892767\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Carpenter was also announced as one of the headliners of next year\u2019s Coachella<\/a>\u00a0alongside\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nme.com\/artists\/justin-bieber\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Justin Bieber<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nme.com\/artists\/karol-g\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Karol G<\/a>. After days of speculation, she was confirmed to be closing out the Friday night of both weekends at the desert music festival.<\/p>\n<p>As for upcoming live dates, she is gearing up for the second North American leg of the \u2018Short n\u2019 Sweet\u2019 tour in late October, which will mark her first time back on the road since sharing the latest record, \u2018Man\u2019s Best Friend\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>It scored a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nme.com\/reviews\/album\/sabrina-carpenter-mans-best-friend-review-review-3889055\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">four-star review from\u00a0NME<\/a>, with Nick Levine writing: \u201cMusically, this album isn\u2019t markedly different from its predecessor, though it has a few more country-leaning cuts sprinkled among the daytime disco and featherlight funk.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt also sticks to Carpenter\u2019s winning formula of pairing sticky melodies with pithy lyrics about the flaws and allure of inadequate males. If there were a Bechdel Test for pop albums, \u2018Man\u2019s Best Friend\u2019 wouldn\u2019t be in danger of passing it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Carpenter recently joked that her label\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nme.com\/news\/music\/sabrina-carpenter-reacts-after-learning-only-200-vinyl-copies-of-her-debut-album-were-made-damn-they-really-didnt-give-a-fuck-about-me-3891165\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">\u201creally didn\u2019t give a fuck\u201d<\/a>\u00a0about her after learning there were only 200 copies of her debut album made for vinyl.<\/p>\n<p><script async src=\"\/\/www.instagram.com\/embed.js\"><\/script><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Sabrina Carpenter has reacted to Kevin Bacon\u2019s cover of \u2018When Did You Get Hot?\u2019.
