\n\t\u201cGolden\u201d from Netflix\u2019s smash animated movie KPop Demon Hunters<\/a> is No. 1 for an eighth week on the U.K. Singles Chart<\/a> on Friday (Sept. 26), and equaled a long-standing record as a result.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe song \u2014 credited to HUNTR\/X<\/a> and voiced by EJAE, Audrey Nuna and Rei Ami \u2014 is now tied for the longest-running No. 1 single for an animated act. The Archies\u2019 \u201cSugar Sugar\u201d also ruled on the U.K. Singles Chart for\u00a0eight weeks back in 1969, while \u201cWe Don\u2019t Talk About Bruno\u201d from Disney\u2019s 2022\u2019s Encanto achieved seven weeks. Additional songs from KPop Demon Hunters also chart this week with Saja Boys\u2019 \u201cSoda Pop\u201d (No. 5) and \u201cYour Idol\u201d seeing success (No. 6).<\/p>\n

\n\tAs she releases her sophomore album The Art of Loving<\/a>, Olivia Dean<\/a> settles in at No. 2 for a fifth consecutive week with her song \u201cMan I Need.\u201d The breakthrough track is also up to No. 30 on the Hot 100,<\/a> her highest ever placing in the U.S.<\/p>\n

\n\tLewis Capaldi <\/a>scores the week\u2019s highest new entry with his track \u201cSomething in the Heavens.\u201d The song ends the week at No. 3 and gives Capaldi his 10th top 10 single on the U.K. charts. Recent song \u201cSurvive,\u201d his first release following a lengthy hiatus from music, hit the top spot upon release back in July.<\/p>\n

\n\tRAYE\u2019s<\/a> comeback track, \u201cWhere Is My Husband?,\u201d storms straight into the top five to finish at No. 4; the 27-year-old already has a U.K. No. 1 single to her name with \u201cEscapism\u201d (2022). Earlier this week, she announced that she was adding additional dates to her upcoming 2026 U.K. arena tour, taking her to six nights London\u2019s 20,000-capacity O2 Arena.<\/p>\n

\n\tIn the week that she announced the birth<\/a> of her third child, Rihanna<\/a> sees more surprise success for her 2007 track \u201cBreakin\u2019 Dishes,\u201d which is up to No. 19, the first time the track has reached the top 20.<\/p>\n
