Kim Zolciak<\/a>\u2019s firstborn son is growing up fast. Perhaps too fast for her liking.<\/p>\n

On Sunday, September 28,\u00a0The Real Housewives of Atlanta<\/a>\u00a0alum offered an emotional update on her 14-year-old boy,\u00a0Kroy Jagger \u201cKJ\u201d Biermann<\/a>. Kim posted a photo of the teen looking quite dapper as he headed off to his first high school homecoming dance.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy heart,\u201d Kim captioned the Story. \u201c[KJ] and Ella Homecoming last night. Of course [as] soon as I saw them the tears were rolling.\u201d<\/p>\n

KJ headed to the event in an all-black three-piece suit with a black button-up, a black bowtie, and a rose boutonni\u00e8re that matched his date\u2019s fuchsia dress.<\/p>\n

\u201cI want time to slow down please,\u201d Kim added.<\/p>\n

Kim Zolciak shares family updates amid her divorce from Kroy Biermann<\/p>\n

The\u00a0Don\u2019t Be Tardy<\/a>\u00a0mom shares KJ with her estranged husband,\u00a0Kroy Biermann<\/a>, whom\u00a0she married in 2011<\/a>. In the years following their wedding, the Atlanta parents welcomed three more children together: son\u00a0Kash Biermann<\/a>, 13; and twins\u00a0Kaia<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Kane Biermann<\/a>, 11.\u00a0Kroy also adopted <\/a>Kim\u2019s oldest daughters,\u00a0Brielle<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Ariana Biermann<\/a>, in 2013.<\/p>\n

Since their initial divorce filing in May 2023, Kim and Kroy have\u00a0sold their Georgia mansion<\/a>\u00a0and are\u00a0now living under separate roofs<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Although she has yet to finalize her divorce from the ex-NFL player, Kim appears to be thriving in her new chapter, which has included lavish getaways<\/a>, some romance<\/a>, and many proud-momma moments.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Back in March, Kim took to Instagram to share a peek at the 2025 B2C Awards Gala, where\u00a0KJ and Kash were recognized for their athletic achievements<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cI couldn\u2019t be more proud of my boys [KJ] and [Kash],\u201d\u00a0she captioned a photo<\/a>\u00a0of her and her sons at the awards ceremony. \u201cFootball is their true passion. They give it their all!! Early morning workouts, after school work outs, boats load of food, commitment, drive and a true love for the game. Makes me so happy.\u201d<\/p>\n

Brielle later confirmed that Kash had received the Defensive Lineman of the Year award at the prep sports gala.<\/p>\n

Brielle spoke about her family life during a recent appearance on Reginae Carter\u2019s\u00a0Heir Time podcast<\/a>, explaining how she felt so \u201cprotective\u201d of her younger siblings as they navigate their parents\u2019 highly publicized divorce.<\/p>\n

\u201cI definitely am the parent to them, and Ariana is, like, the fun one. And I\u2019m trying to find a balance right now to be both,\u201d she said. \u201cThe younger kids, they didn\u2019t really grow up on TV. They were, like, 3, 4, 5, 6 [years old] when Don\u2019t Be Tardy was happening. But they have TikTok, so they see things about my mom or about our family and what\u2019s going on\u2026 Unfortunately, I feel like they\u2019re kind of going through it with me.\u201d<\/p>\n
