A new report reveals that MCNEX has joined as a supplier for the phone\u2019s 50MP telephoto zoom camera. The upcoming <a href=\"https:\/\/sammyguru.com\/samsung-galaxy-s26-ultra\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">S26 Ultra will likely keep the same unit<\/a>, but with more vendors in the mix. The company has signed MCNEX as the third supplier for this 50MP camera, alongside the two existing ones, Samsung Electro-Mechanics and Sunny Optical.<\/p>\n<p>According to the Korean media, Samsung <a href=\"https:\/\/www.etnews.com\/20250929000227\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">expects <\/a>this diversification to help improve the image quality and achieve a stable production. Interestingly, the company no longer plans to source the 3x zoom camera from MCNEX. Power Logics replaces it, while Patron remains the other supplier. The 200MP primary camera will be fully made in-house by Samsung. Here\u2019s the complete supplier lineup for the Galaxy S26 Ultra cameras:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>200MP main \u2013 Samsung Electro-Mechanics, Samsung<\/li>\n<li>50MP ultrawide \u2013 Sunny Optical, Patron<\/li>\n<li>10MP 3x zoom \u2013 Power Logics, Patron<\/li>\n<li>50MP 5x zoom \u2013 Samsung Electro-Mechanics, Sunny Optical, MCNEX<\/li>\n<li>12MP front \u2013 Namuga, MCNEX<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Camera module production will reportedly start in November 2025, with phone mass production kicking off shortly afterward. Samsung usually produces around 35 million Galaxy S devices annually, and half of that volume is expected to be Ultras.\u00a0The Galaxy S26 series will debut in January or February next year, with the Ultra accompanied by the S26 Edge and S26 Pro.
