\n\tElizabeth Olsen<\/a> is finally back as Scarlet Witch in \u201cMarvel Zombies<\/a>,\u201d albeit just in a voice role. The four-episode Disney+ animated series is a spinoff of \u201cWhat If\u2026?\u201d and is set in a world where most of the population, including the Avengers, are zombies. Olsen voices her fan favorite superhero alongside many returning Marvel alum, including Paul Rudd as Ant-Man, Iman Vellani as Ms. Marvel, Simu Liu as Shang-Chi and more.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI truly recorded that years ago. I can\u2019t remember\u00a0anything,\u201d Olsen admitted at L.A. Comic Con (via GamesRadar<\/a>) when asked about her Scarlet Witch return. \u201cI need to watch it. I have no idea what [happens in] \u2018Marvel Zombies.’\u201d

Olsen continued, \u201cIt\u2019s my voice. I did it in my house, I wasn\u2019t even in an office space. This must have been 2020, 2021? Why was I working in my house and not in a studio? I really have no idea what it was like. I\u2019m so sorry.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tOlsen debuted as Scarlet Witch in the post-credits scene of 2014\u2019s \u201cCaptain America: The Winter Soldier\u201d before her proper supporting role in 2015\u2019s \u201cAvengers: Age of Ultron.\u201d She has since gone on to star in blockbusters like \u201cAvengers: Infinity War\u201d and \u201cDoctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness\u201d and headlined the Disney+ series \u201cWandaVision,\u201d for which she earned an Emmy nomination. <\/p>\n

\n\tThe \u201cDoctor Strange\u201d sequel remains Olsen\u2019s last in-person Marvel appearance as Scarlet Witch. The movie turned the character into a full blown villain and ended with Scarlet Witch crushed under a collapsed building. Her fate is unknown, and neither Olsen nor Marvel have yet to announce when Scarlet Witch will reappear. She has not been announced as a cast member for next year\u2019s \u201cAvengers: Doomsday.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tOlsen said last year<\/a> she\u2019s open to reprising Scarlet Witch in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but only if there\u2019s a way to use the character well.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cIt\u2019s a character that I love going back to when there\u2019s a way to use her well, and I think I have been lucky that when I started I was used well,\u201d Olsen said in a recent interview with FM104 (via\u00a0Collider<\/a>). \u201cPeople didn\u2019t know what to do with me for a second there. \u2026 If there\u2019s a good way to use her I\u2019m always happy to come back.\u201d<\/p>\n
