Photo: Frank McGrath<\/p>\n<p class=\"indo-ebe0ecc6_root indo-ebe0ecc6_paragraph indo-300db776_none indo-91174671_primary indo-1d70522a_marginbottom0 indo-1d70522a_margintop0 indo-b48c4984_inherit\" style=\"color:var(--color-primary-80)\">Nama says it has completed a transfer of two major sites with capacity to deliver up to 4,500 homes to the Land Development Agency (LDA).<\/p>\n<p class=\"indo-ebe0ecc6_root indo-ebe0ecc6_paragraph indo-300db776_none indo-91174671_primary indo-1d70522a_marginbottom5 indo-1d70522a_margintop0 indo-b48c4984_inherit\" style=\"color:var(--color-primary-80)\">The sites are in Lissenhall, near Swords in north Co Dublin, and Celbridge, Co Kildare. Both are currently farm land.<\/p>\n<p class=\"indo-ebe0ecc6_root indo-ebe0ecc6_paragraph indo-300db776_none indo-91174671_primary indo-1d70522a_marginbottom5 indo-1d70522a_margintop0 indo-b48c4984_inherit\" style=\"color:var(--color-primary-80)\">The Lissenhall site is 212 acres with capacity for 3,000 to 3,500 new homes. It includes the proposed site for the terminus of the Metrolink rail project. The site is currently being used primarily for agricultural purposes and is zoned for residential development.<\/p>\n<p class=\"indo-ebe0ecc6_root indo-ebe0ecc6_paragraph indo-300db776_none indo-91174671_primary indo-1d70522a_marginbottom5 indo-1d70522a_margintop0 indo-b48c4984_inherit\" style=\"color:var(--color-primary-80)\">The Celbridge site is 86 acres, with capacity for 850 to 1,000 new homes. It is currently being used for agricultural purposes and is next to a site where the Department of Education intends to build three new schools.<\/p>\n<p class=\"indo-ebe0ecc6_root indo-ebe0ecc6_paragraph indo-300db776_none indo-91174671_primary indo-1d70522a_marginbottom5 indo-1d70522a_margintop0 indo-b48c4984_inherit\" style=\"color:var(--color-primary-80)\">A planning application for 344 new homes on the Celbridge site is currently in the planning system.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Nama chief Brendan McDonagh.
