{"id":97403,"date":"2025-10-01T18:02:09","date_gmt":"2025-10-01T18:02:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ie\/97403\/"},"modified":"2025-10-01T18:02:09","modified_gmt":"2025-10-01T18:02:09","slug":"corks-lee-cafe-announces-closure-after-two-years-in-business","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ie\/97403\/","title":{"rendered":"Cork&#8217;s Lee Caf\u00e9 announces closure after two years in business\u00a0"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A Cork caf\u00e9 has said it has made the difficult decision to close after two years in business.<\/p>\n<p>The Lee Caf\u00e9 located near the river at Thomas Davis Bridge, took to social media this week to announce the closure after &#8220;two wonderful years&#8221; in business.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">&#8220;This decision wasn&#8217;t easy, but as many of you know, running a small business isn&#8217;t always simple or sustainable,&#8221; the company said.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">The caf\u00e9 was opened in September 2023 and is run by business owner Ronan Power, who also runs the Lough Caf\u00e9, which opened at the start of 2020.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">&#8220;From day one, this little place has been more than just a caf\u00e9,&#8221; the Lee Caf\u00e9 added on social media.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ie\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/4803636_2_articleinline_IMG-20240330-WA0001.jpg\" alt=\"The Lee Cafe\" title=\"The Lee Cafe\" class=\"card-img\"\/>The Lee Cafe<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">&#8220;It\u2019s been a cozy corner filled with laughter, familiar faces, wagging tails, and the most beautiful views.
