{"id":97640,"date":"2025-10-01T20:23:09","date_gmt":"2025-10-01T20:23:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ie\/97640\/"},"modified":"2025-10-01T20:23:09","modified_gmt":"2025-10-01T20:23:09","slug":"bicycle-parking-near-limerick-railway-station-could-be-removed","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ie\/97640\/","title":{"rendered":"Bicycle parking near Limerick railway station could be removed"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>COUNCIL is to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.limerickleader.ie\/section\/309\/politics\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">investigate<\/a> removing a bike park in the city centre, which has been described as being \u201cdesolate and empty\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>At this month\u2019s metropolitan district meeting, Social Democrats councillor Elisa O\u2019Donovan called for the removal of the steel bars which allow parking of bikes at Parnell Street.<\/p>\n<p>She said: \u201cThere is endless steel bicycle parking. It takes away from the whole area of Parnell Street.
