{"id":9767,"date":"2025-08-19T16:54:11","date_gmt":"2025-08-19T16:54:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ie\/9767\/"},"modified":"2025-08-19T16:54:11","modified_gmt":"2025-08-19T16:54:11","slug":"romano-reveals-reds-very-ready-with-new-isak-proposal-amid-two-word-strong-message","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/ie\/9767\/","title":{"rendered":"Romano reveals Reds &#8216;very ready&#8217; with &#8216;new Isak proposal&#8217; amid two-word &#8216;strong message&#8217;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Fabrizio Romano has dropped an update on Liverpool\u2019s interest in Newcastle United star Alexander Isak, as they are \u201cvery ready\u201d to submit a \u201cnew proposal\u201d.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.football365.com\/liverpool\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Liverpool<\/strong> <\/a>have been heavily linked with Isak over the past year and they remain interested in the Newcastle star even after landing Hugo Ekitike for around \u00a380m.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.football365.com\/tag\/alexander-isak\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Isak<\/strong> <\/a>has been mooted as a dream signing for Liverpool, who are unwilling to pass up on the opportunity to sign the world-class striker after he informed Newcastle of his intention to leave this summer.<\/p>\n<p>The 25-year-old scored 27 goals in 42 appearances for Newcastle last season and is reportedly valued at around \u00a3150m as he is under contract until 2028.<\/p>\n<p>But with Newcastle holding firm on their demands, Isak has spat his dummy out in an attempt to force an exit, as he has been training alone and missed his current side\u2019s opening Premier League game of the season.<\/p>\n<p><strong>READ:<a href=\"https:\/\/www.football365.com\/news\/opinion-kneejerk-reactions-opening-weekend-arsenal-liverpool-potter\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">\u00a0Potter sack, Arsenal trophy, Liverpool record and more kneejerk reactions from opening Premier League weekend<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Liverpool have already had a bid worth a potential total fee of \u00a3120m turned down by Newcastle, with reports suggesting that they will return with an improved offer if\/when the Magpies land a suitable replacement or two.<\/p>\n<p>In an ideal world, Newcastle would want Isak to remain at the club, but Romano has revealed the striker\u2019s latest \u2018strong message\u2019 to club chiefs.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOnto the big case of Alexander Isak. What I can tell you is that Newcastle have received another strong message from the player,\u201d Romano said on his YouTube channel.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOver the past few weeks, Newcastle have always tried to approach Isak to say \u2018are you sure there is not even one single way to continue together?\u2019 They even offered him a new contract with a record salary for the club that includes an exit clause to let the player go in 2026.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIsak again is saying \u2018no chance\u2019. Isak has no intention to change his mind and those close to Isak maintain the same position \u2013 only Liverpool.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Romano has also provided an update on Liverpool\u2019s stance as they are \u201cvery ready\u201d to raise their offer and their \u201cfocus is very clear\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cObviously, Newcastle need a replacement, maybe two strikers.
