A fire in Dublin city centre has impacted some Luas passengers as emergency services respond to the blaze.<\/p>\n
The fire broke out on Mayor Street Lower, at George\u2019s Dock near the IFSC building. Garda\u00ed and members of Dublin Fire Brigade are at the scene of the incident.<\/p>\n
\u201cThree fire engines along with senior officers are on scene at a fire at George’s Dock near the IFSC,\u201d Dublin Fire Brigade said in a post on X.<\/p>\n
“Firefighters are using 70mm hoses to control the fire and cool adjacent exposures. We’ve requested Gas Networks Ireland to the location.\u201d<\/p>\n

Luas red line services are suspended between Bus\u00e1ras and The Point due to the incident and are only in operation between Tallaght\/Saggart and Connolly Station.<\/p>\n
\u201cPassengers, please be advised Red Line services are currently only operating from Tallaght\/Saggart to Connolly. There is currently no service from Busaras to The Point,\u201d a spokesperson said.<\/p>\n
“This is due to a non Luas related incident. Luas tickets are valid on Dublin Bus for the duration of this service disruption.
