Intoxicated man arrested for stealing construction equipment in Lebanon, police say

LEBANON, Tenn. (WSMV) – Lebanon Police say they arrested a man under the influence over the weekend after catching him stealing construction equipment.

Police say the 31-year-old Antioch man, whom they did not identify, was “loading the supplies into his truck from a house that was under construction” when they responded to a call.

“Officers determined the man was intoxicated. He was arrested without incident and charged with public intoxication and theft,” a post from the department said.

The exact location of the alleged crime was not released.

“Appreciate the quick work to apprehend this suspect!” the police department wrote on Facebook.
