Golf carts are returning to a course in Lebanon about one month after a fire destroyed the course’s cart barn.The fire broke out on April 14 at the Armco Park Golf Course in Warren County, with the fire contained to the cart barn behind the pro shop.Nobody was hurt, according to investigators, but the cart barn and the carts inside were considered total losses.Despite that, the course reopened the following day for walking play and golfers who brought their own carts.Now, the Warren County Park District announced that carts have returned to the Armco Park Golf Course. The recovery effort included leasing replacement carts, renting a tent structure to protect the carts from the weather and establishing temporary electrical infrastructure to charge electric carts.”We are incredibly grateful for the patience and support shown by our golfing community over the past several weeks,” said Matt Latham, executive director of the Warren County Park District. “Our staff and partners worked tirelessly to get carts back into service as quickly as possible, and we’re excited to continue welcoming golfers back to the course.”
