Kuwait attacked an Iranian ship in the Persian Gulf and detained four Iranian citizens.
Modern.az reports that Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi announced this. According to the minister, the incident occurred in international waters, and Tehran considers it an illegal act.
Araqchi stated that relevant institutions are investigating the issue and Iran will take all steps to protect the rights of its citizens.
Kuwait has not yet made a statement regarding the incident.
